APARTMENT RENOVATION

Renovation project of an apartment in Sant Cugat del Vallès.

The main goal of the project is to redistribute the dwelling so the main bedroom, the kitchen and the main bathroom are extended.

The main bedroom is allocated where there was two small old bedrooms and a bathroom. Thanks to this distribution, the new bedroom will get more sunlight and it will also contain a wide bathroom and dressing room. So some partition walls will be demolished in order to get a wide and diaphanous space.

Regarding the kitchen, it is fully renewed and it is also extended in order to get a direct access to the inner terrace. The walls and the furniture are designed in white color and the marble is dark in order to enhance the contrast between horizontal and vertical surfaces.

The main bathroom is also redistributed and it is made accessible. Here the light colors are also used in the walls and furniture.

Finally, some partition walls of the dining room are demolished to get a space more diaphanous and which flows towards the kitchen. Moreover, some space of the terrace is taken in order to compensate the loss of the surface that entails the extension of the kitchen.
