NEW HOUSE PROJECT

Project of tearing down and building a new single family house in Sant Cugat del Vallès.

The promoters need a new dwelling and the one which is currently there is too small and it is also in a very bad shape. So it was decided to tear it down and build another one which meets the needs of the clients and accomplish the requeriments of comfort and energy consumption.

After several meetings it was decided to build two floors and put the day rooms on the ground floor and the night rooms on the upper floor. Moreover, a parking will be made on the basement.

The ground floor has a bedroom for guests, a bathroom, a laundry, the kitchen and a large living-dining room which becomes the main space of the dwelling. Moreover, the living-dining room is directly related to the backyard where a small swimming-pool will be set up and it will be an extension of the space. On the first floor there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

In parallel to all the functional requirements, we also want to respond to the technical requirements so the house could have a minimum energy consumption and it is as much efficient and sustainable as possible.
