HOUSE RENOVATION

Project to extend an isolated single family house in Valldoreix.

The goal of the project is to extend the living room of this isolated house, which is in the ground floor, in order to get a wider and more comfortable space to the owners.

In order to reduce costs and take full advantage of the resources, the proposal incorporates the surface underneath the area covered for the first floor so the intervention is slightest and the extension is integrated to the dwelling. Moreover, besides getting a proper illumination, we accomplish a nice connection with the backyard which is a privileged space.

Finally, the inner space is slightly redistributed according to the intervention proposed.
