SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE

Project for the construction of a new single family house in Ullastrell, Barcelona.

The project adapts itself to the characteristic topography of the place and it has two variants which always aim to orientate and open themselves towards the south, where the solar radiation is higher and, consequently, it is possible to get the maximum sunlight.

One of the proposals has a single floor that has all the rooms required from the promoters. The second proposal is develop in two floors; on the upper floor, more related to the street, there are the day areas which are a living-dining room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a storage room and also an exterior terrace; on the lower floor, more related to the plot and the yard, there are the bedrooms, a bathroom and a laundry room. Both proposals foresee possible expansions in the future that would take place on the lower floor.

Simultaneously to the dwelling, it is developed a landscaping preliminary project that links the building with its environment in order to get a symbiosis between both of them and the project becomes an indissoluble set.
