HOUSE RENOVATION

Project for the renovation of a terraced house in Terrassa.

It is a case a bit exceptional in the sense that it is a typical "casa de cos" (terraced house) which has horizontal division, so just the ground floor is intervened.

The apartment then, is small, so it's necessary to take advantage of the available space as much as possible. Therefore, in order to get an extra room, the entrance is displaced to the center of the façade, the door is displaced backwards and placed sideways to get a window. Thus the apartment has two rooms which face the main façade, an interior bathroom and a living-dining-kitchen room facing the back façade, towards the backyard.
