Project to convert a shop to a new dwelling in Sant Cugat del Vallès.

The assignment is to design and set up a new dwelling in a small place which was used as a shop until that moment. The mentioned place is located in the center of Sant Cugat del Vallès, in a quiet and pleasant pedestrian zone.

The first step to adapt it is to level the entire floor and put it at the same level as the entrance door.

Regarding the interior of the dwelling, it unfolds on one floor and has a living-dining-kitchen room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and although it is not too large, the distribution takes profit of all the available space.

Finally, regarding the sustainability there is a technical impossibility of placing solar panels, so we chose to install an aerothermy system.
