HOUSE RENOVATION

Project for the renovation of a terraced house in Terrassa.

The project aims to solve the needs of renovation of a typical "casa de cos" (terraced house) in Terrassa. The house is designed according to the owners' needs and it is distributed in two floors.

As in most of these houses, the day area is located on the ground floor and it has parking, bathroom and a large living-dining-kitchen room that faces the backyard. The night area is located on the upper floor and, in this case, it has three bedrooms, a studio, two bathrooms and a laundry room.

In this case, it is also intended to get as much sunlight as possible, because due to the typology of the dwelling, long and narrow, it is usually difficult. In order to get this, there are two large rooflights which act like light wells that lead the sunlight from the roof to the ground floor.
