TERRACED HOUSE RENOVATION

Renovation and rehabilitation project of a duplex in Terrassa, Barcelona.

The goal of the project is to maintain the original volumetry of the "casa de cos" (terraced house) that has a double bay with an intermediate wall and a gabled roof.

A new floor is made and the back part is demolished in order to comply with planning regulations and also to create a new terrace.

It is intended to relate the street with a parking and a small room, while the living areas are linked to the back yard which also gets more sunlight. The bedrooms are placed on the first floor.
