TERRACED HOUSE

Full management of the renovation of a single family terraced house in the center of Terrassa, Barcelona.

The project aims to solve the needs of renovation of a typical "casa de cos" (terraced house) in Terrassa. The house is designed according to the owners' needs and it is distributed in two floors.

As it happens in most houses in the area, the ground floor allocates the day rooms (parking, bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room and yard). On the upper floor there are the three bedrooms, a small studio and a bathroom. In the center there is the stairway which is illuminated through a large skylight on the roof that provides light not only to the stairway but to the studio.

In general terms, it is intended to recover the essence of the typical building in this area of Terrassa without compromising the comfort and renovating all the facilities and making a new distribution.
