CEMETERY

Project design for the construction of a cemetery in Malabo, (Equatorial Guinea)

The project aims to reproduce the architecture of nature and, at the same time, the vernacular architecture. A series of paths and roads are created by linking the wooded areas and the areas without vegetation, producing a symbiosis between them.

The funeral home is located in the cemetery's main entrance, next to the parking, so the movement of vehicles on the inside is reduced. This building aims to be a transitional space between the human construction on earth and the nature construction, through the relations between materials and transparencies.
